About Stacey:

I am a wife, I am a mom, I am a daughter, I am a sister, I am a friend, I am a scrap booker. My husband and I have been married just over 9 years. He is my best friend and one of my greatest scrap booking assets. He taught me everything I know about a camera and is still teaching me more. He was a photojournalist for the military so he has an amazing talent that he is passing on my way. We have five kids that I stay home with. We have three biological and two foster children. All of our kids are 7 and under. They provide me with much of my scrapping material not to mention a huge amount of joy! I am California born and raised. We moved to Western Colorado over a year ago to do Youth Ministry. Though I am a California native Colorado has always been my love. We are here and loving it.

I started scrap booking in 1996 I didn't know then really what I was doing. I had glue, photos, markers, and cardstock, and about 25 pairs of fancy shaped scissors. Acid free was not a term I knew about. I had a friend that was a CM consultant and showed me what scrap booking really was about. Since 1996 as I have grown so has my scrap booking. I like bold colors and patterns and straight lines are always appearing in my layouts no matter how hard I try to get a little whimsical. I am a papper scrapper just getting my feet in the digiatal world. I think the hybrid style is soon heading my way. To me scrap booking is not only an art and a creative outlet for me but it is a way of telling a story, our story. The story of a love in a marriage that keeps growing, the story of children that keep growing, and a story of the amazing way God is growing us as a family. I am so excited to be a part of this Creative Team since scrap booking is my love. It is a joy to know there is a place where we can share our lives together. I am more blessed by being a part of the Prayer Team since it is with God that my passion lays.
