About Rita:

Hi Ladies! My name is Rita Barakat. I have been married to my wonderful husband for over 18 years. Before I had children I painted life size murals for a living. I am blessed to be a SAHM (stay at home mom) to five beautiful children ages 17 down to 3 1/2!

My talents are all in the fine arts. I direct a youth choir and drama team at our church. I sing and have always been a crafter and an artist. When I ran across scrapbooking I was immediately hooked! I am always thinking about ideas for layouts and stories to journal. I believe in being transparent and honest when I scrap, when you have read my scrapbooks you will know who I am and what I believe.

My favorite scripture right now is James 1:2-3
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.
I am very excited to be a part of the "My Lifetime Story" Creative Team here at Faith Sisters! What a wonderful legacy we are leaving for future generations!
