WAIT...it is such a hard thing to do. After all, we live in a world that demands everything RIGHT NOW! If we have to WAIT for more than 5 minutes in line at the store it ruins our whole day! This week I became very aware of each time I had to WAIT. I WAITED on hold, for people, for elevators, for gas to pump, etc. The hardest WAIT was while my aunt underwent a breast biopsy and then having to WAIT for the results. Praise Jesus they were negative. But, it made me think about how Jesus WAITED for me to come to Him for nearly 26 years. Hello? And I get upset if I have to WAIT at a red light? Jesus lovingly WAITED for me to place my hope in Him so that I may know true Joy & Peace. WAITING is not my strong point but this week taught me I must approach His throne with my burdens, my tears, my desires, my hopes, my prayers of intercession and then WAIT with expectation for His will to be done in His time.

your journaling is wonderful, very heart felt, great job... I usually don't have trouble with waiting in line or for a light etc but this year I had a lot of trouble waiting for test results, for my dh's prostate biopsy (so far negative, 2 biopsies later, thank you Lord) and for my own (I have had ongoing medical problems since last January, and still not diagnosed).

I struggled with anxiety and depression for 7 months of the last year until God finally brought me to a place where my prayer life has increased and I can hear Him when He is speaking to me - I came to Christ 14 months ago at age 51. So he waited for me a long too and was very faithful. I still struggle with waiting but it is not debilitating me now, I am more at peace, trusting in Him and drawing strength from Him. Our God is truly amazing.

Thank you for sharing your journaling, it is nice to come here and speak with gals of like minds. (not many of my friends are walking with our Lord yet!). Blessings to you, Deb

Oh how true your words ring for me. In our "instant" world waiting has become something that causes people to become angry. I am just thankful that God WAITED for me to finally hear and come home to Him.

I got started late with this challenge and I can hardly WAIT to catch up. Your card has inspired me. Thanks
