journaling - "2008 is a new year and with it came a new little bundle into our lives. This little bundle is the cause of some big changes though. It's amazing how God uses the things in our lifes to sanctify us. My children open my eyes to my depravity more than anything else in the world. Having two little people who are learning everything from me is really making me re-examine my life and my priorities. I know that I can't hope to pass on spiritual things to them that I don't posses and my biggest hope and prayer for them, aside from being saved, is that they will find their true joy and delight in Christ. I want them to be able to say honestly that they live the way they do not to follow some rules or out of duty but because they delight in Christ and in following him. As I have realized that I want that for them I have found God changing my heart and that is my biggest desire for myself. I want to fall more and more in love with you this year Lord! Through God's strength and grace 2008 will just be another year on my path to being sanctified. I beg You to open my eyes to anything that is hindering my delight in you and I praise you for my children who constantly point me to you and cause me to praise You!"

Absolutely beautiful! I had never thought about wanting my daughter to not only know Jesus, but find completely joy in knowing him. What an awesome thought! Thanks for sharing.
