One of seven 12x12 LOs I made several years ago during a weekly Scripture challenge at another website.
Journaling reads: Psalm 139:23, 24 - "Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."
This is a prayer I pray quite often...I know it grieves the Lord when I fail to be obedient, when I put my own desires ahead of others, or when I hold bitterness, unforgiveness or wrong attitudes in my heart. These things not only grieve Him, but if I remain in my "wicked ways," my life will be unfit for Him to use. Consequently, I lose my witness, carry the Lord's Name in vain and become a stumbling block to those who are earnestly searching. May I never fail to run to Christ in sorrow and repentance,when I become aware of such things. May my life only be a glowing testimony of His goodness, His mercy and His grace. And may I be a true reflection of the Light of God.
