This layout is full of symbolism with the photo of a newly burned prairie in springtime that will soon be teaming with new growth; to the image of father and son walking down a path hand in hand. The overlay of a green plant on the photo frame is yet another symbol of new life, as is the butterfly.
Journaling reads:
Life is full of second chances. I was given a second chance at love when I met Jesse after divorce. Even then, life was not all rosey. He had a problem with alcohol, and I spent many nights praying while he was “out with the boys.” Then one day Jesse asked for God's help, and he never touched another drop. Jesse was given a second chance to live as a testimony of what God has done for him. Out of the ashes of our mistakes a new life is made when we give it over to Christ. It is wonderful to know that no matter how many mistakes we make God is always a Father of ...
2nd chances.

Ideas to Note:
• Reduced opacity on the frame layer and used an eraser tool to allow the plant design from the green patterned paper to show through and act as an overlay on the frame
• Title words had a bevel and emboss with texture applied to the layer to make them pop off the page.
• Sandstone cardstock created using texture filter.
