After all that we’ve been through, You told us that this new year, 2008, would be a year of joy and laughter. That this year holds promotion and that the tables would turn in our favor. I’m really starting to get it. That Your ways are amazing. That your ways are so far beyond… I’m learning to surrender to Your ways and to Your will. Learning to wait on you. Surely enough, I’m really starting to “feel my help coming on”. I feel You renewing my strength. Already this year, we can see that the tables are turning. That You’re working things out for our good. On this day, January 14, 2008, we ended up at a park that we had never been to before. It was so gorgeous. Breathtaking. Overlooking lakes and mountains. I remember that everything felt new that day. I snapped this photo of an eagle statue. Maybe it’s Your way of telling me that it’s time to fly. To mount up on my wings like an eagle. Goodbye to depression and anxiety. Hello to flying above circumstances and into the land to which you are calling us. Of course, I’ll be flying in Your shadow the whole time. But help us to fly, My Lord. Like eagles with renewed strength. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
