2007...was a year that made me pray for Tim a lot
In 2007, I made several trips to LA to help my friend Diane get caught up in the dental office between January & June. My trip in January, God’s hand was definitely in the timing of this trip, because my son, Tim was in dire straits. I truly feel that if I had not been down there that particular weekend, he would have ended his life. His car died, he had no money to get it fixed, he had no way to get to work. But, because I was down there, I was able to help him get a car, and to get him to work. My heart ached for him, and I cried out to the Lord to help him. And He did My prayer continues to be for Tim, as he is still trying to get his feet on the ground.
Tim...what can I say...I love him so much, and he has such great potential, but he just can’t seem to get a break. I keep praying that he will get into a good church and grow in the Lord, but he hasn’t done that. He did go to a church that was near his apartment in LA, but now he has moved, and I don’t think he has found a church yet. I just pray and pray and pray that he will have the desire to get into God’s Word and really grow in his faith.
