I take more horizontal than vertical pictures and when I turned the template on it’s side it looked kinda like a wedding cake to me…so what better pictures to scrap than Meg’s wedding =) I couldn’t figure out how to put the different papers into the flowers…I obviously still have a lot to learn about Digital Scrapbooking…so I just added a different flourish~ And if you look really closely in one picture you can Jim tearing up in the background and in another you can see my cousin, aunt and I all crying…yes it was an emotional dance =)

JOURNALING:
Meg, you have always had a fondness for the music of Sarah Brightman. From her rendition in “Requiem” to “Phantom of The Opera”, her music has always stirred something in you. So it’s not surprising that on a very hot day while you and dad were strolling along Las Vegas Boulevard, you were surprised to hear that lilting voice coming over some loud speakers. You just happened to be in front of the Bellagio when the Fountain Show began. The song was Con Te Partiro (Time to Say Goodbye) and it was being sung by Sarah Brightman & Andrea Bocelli. You were both so moved by the breathtaking display of water and music; you stayed there for quite some time so you could hear the song once again. When it came time for you to pick out a song for the Father-Daughter dance at your wedding, it was no surprise that this was the song you chose. It might seem like a strange song to choose, but you chose it not only for the beautiful musical experience you and daddy shared together, but you also chose it for the words. For it is about saying goodbye to one life and moving on to another. What better sentiment for a wedding. The actual dance between you and daddy was so very emotional. You were able to dance one last dance together as daddy’s little girl. When the song ended he kissed you on the forehead, bowed to you and said goodbye. It was now time for you to start sharing your life experiences with Jeff.
E io si lo so
Che sei con me con me
Tu mia luna tu sei qui con me
Mio sole tu sei qui con me
Con me con me con me
Time to say goodbye
Paesi che non ho mai
Veduto e vissuto con te
Adesso si li vivro.
And yes, I know
That you are with me;
You, my moon, are here with me,
My sun, you are here with me.
With me, with me, with me,
Time to say goodbye,
To countries I never
Saw and shared with you,
Now, yes, I shall experience them
