Journaling reads:
Galatians 5:22-23
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love,
joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Against such things there is no law."


To me, this means that if you are these things,
you are the true embodiment of Christ. Jesus
was the epitome of these fruits of the Spirit,
and he did no wrong. Even those who accused
him knew he had committed no sin.


Paul says to the Galatians (and to us!) that we
must put on these characteristics if we want to
enter the kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit is
waiting for us to make the first move. It's never
easy, but with God all things are possible. And
as we display these fruits of the Spirit, others will
come to know Christ through us. You don't have
to be a preacher to minister. You just have to be
the fruit.
