Journaling: When I sit down and try to put to words what my goal in life is it seems overwhelming. As women we wear so many "hats"; wife, mom, friend, daughter, mentor, and the list goes on. I can write down that I want to be a wife that adores, respects and is a helpmate to her husband; the mom that nurtures and trains her children; a friend that listens and supports; a daughter that loves and serves her parents; a mentor that encourages and uplifts... to be all these things on a daily basis seems unattainable. But when I look at my life goals through Christ, I see that they all fit under one, if I just remember 2 Corin. 5:9 -- "So we make it our GOAL to please Him..." I pray that the Lord will renew my mind daily with my goal to be pleasing to Him, and He will make the other goals attainable.
