JOURNALING:
I have never made resolutions. I have lived my life with the beliefs that my parents instilled in me at a very young age. They taught me that God was in control of the path that my life should take. The choice was mine whether I decided to follow God down this path or not. So for me to thrust upon any notion or idea that ~I~ felt was more important than what He had in store for my life always seemed rather presumptuous.
I love this stanza form the poem by Robert Frost:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
My walk with Christ has not always been an easy or a popular one, but it is the path chosen by Him for me. Believe me when I say that His presence in my life has made all the difference.
Bible Verse:
Trust in the Lord with all your heat and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him an He will direct your paths
Proverbs 3:5-6
