JOURNALING:
On a recent trip to the Grand Canyon we decided to adventure out and hike the Widforss Trail. This was a nice winding trail thru the forest, right along the rim of the canyon. When we got to the top of the trail, we were in a lush green meadow and there standing in front of us were two deer grazing in the grass. They looked right at us and I guess figured that we were no threat to them, so they went right back to munching. We paused there for quite awhile, just enjoying the great outdoors and the beauty of nature surrounding us.
