I wrote this poem when I started to put together an album about my journey to finding God. The album is about all the times I could look back and see God working even though I didn't know it at the time. I made this page for the first page. The poem reads:
When I came to him and this journey began,
I placed my life into his hands.
Please guide and mold me from this point on,
He smiled and whispered, "I have been doing that all along."
"I loved you long before your journey began,
I've waited for you with outstretched hands.
You might not have seen it going on,
But my child, I have been with you all along."
I looked over my life and as I began,
I lifted up my outstretched hands.
For there were signs from the first point on,
I smiled and whispered, "So you were there all along."
