Translation of the journaling:
It was in 1992 when Ubbe started to study languages that this book came into our house. When he read it he found this lithuainian proverb that he showed me as an example of an alliteration. The proverb means "God gave teeth, God will give bread."

And it just struck me, like a blow to the head. BUT OF COURSE! That's how it is. We struggled with economy issues this period of life, both being full-time students. But I claimed the proverb, and I stated it as mine.

Since then we've never had any money problems. Quite the opposite. Both me and Ubbe got scholarships, and when John was born I got a better allowance than expected. And so on. Time and time again have this been proven to me.
God is a part of our every day life. He sees even our little needs. All it took was that I started to trust in Him!

Awesome story! I think I am finding this to be one of my favorite challenges so far! Reading all of the stories that have been posted so far is just awesome! Isn't it so wonderful to see how God has spoken to us and built our faith through just little things! Great job on your layout.

I love how God can speak through literature to us. Love the monochromatic theme with that splash of color from the book.
