Isaac and his Mom caught
a large garden spider at his
Aunt Taeh's house and brought
it to me. I explained to him
that it was a good spider and ate
bad bugs in the flowers so he
set it loose in the hummingbird
vine by the front porch. It
made a web and for three days
it sat in the middle of the web.
On the fourth day, it made
a web on the other side of the
porch and made a big egg sac.
That egg sac will be filled with hundreds
of spiders which will hatch and
eat aphids and other undesirable
bugs in Granny's flowers next spring.
