The excitement we shared over Brittany’s first
trip to the beach, soon turned to disappointment
when we arrived and saw seaweed in the water
and all along the shore line. Some people in our
group, tried to make their way past the tangled
mass but were stung by jellyfish that were caught
in the leaves. Despite putting on baby strength sun block at least three times, Brittany and I both ended up with very bad sunburns.
Even though this trip to the beach did not turn out the way we planned, there was still lots of fun to be had. The kids collected seashells, flew kites,played in the sand, and enjoyed a picnic lunch.
