This is about my Great Grandmother Winnifred Kirkland Tisdale and her ruby wedding ring. I created it with my Heroine Digital Scrapbooking Kit. Thank you for looking.

My mother inherited her
Grandmother’s lovely 1905
ruby wedding ring that I have
always admired. I never knew why
it was rubies until I read what her
husband wrote in her autograph book -
Proverbs 31:10 and he signed it “Hubby”!
How precious was that discovery. I knew
they had loved each other through thick
and a lot of thin! She was first his organist
when he pastored, then the mother of his
children, creating a loving environment
for him to come home to after a long day of
teaching or school administration. She
trained her daughter (and her sons) in
the way that they should go and has
left a legacy of faith. She was never in
the foreground, but was gentle and
quiet, but strong. I look forward to
meeting this woman who
had an influence on my
life even though I
never met her!
