My mom and her best friend for years, Kathy. This layout is my answer to the Map of Me challenge at PDW.
JOURNALING READS: Kathy Nishida and my mom, the two women who made the biggest impact on my life.. They were close friends from the day they met. From 13 on, I babysit her children, while she taught me to cherish my friends, as she cherished my mom. From her, I learned that I could be quiet and still touch lives around me through silent acts of kindness. Thank you.
Side note: Why the face? Caleb gave Kathy a “Cry Baby” sour gumball. Kathy SAID she loved sour things.
