These pictures are of mum, me & Meg in the same wedding dress that my grandmum made-with a few modifications due to current style~ But this dress is yet another blessing that I count as being lovingly handed down from generation to generation~


Journaling:
I do not have a testimonial per se. God has been a blessing to my life as far back as I can remember. These are the three most important blessings God has presented to me.


1.Daddy & Mumsy
My loving parents baptized and raised me in the Presbyterian Church. Humble and unassuming, they taught and led me by example, showing me that being a member of a faith community means becoming involved.


2. Michael
God had his hand on my shoulder when I met first met Michael our freshman year of college. This incredible man of faith challenged me to explore the bible and my faith deeper and in doing so I fell deeper in love with him and with God.


3. Meg & Jim
To have children is to experience God’s greatest blessing. We gave them deep roots in their faith but we also gave them wings to fly on their own. So when Meg met Jeff thru Intervarsity Christian Fellowship and later married this amazing man of faith and when Jim met Cassie thru Presbyterian Christian Ministries; we are blessed thru them as they all continue their faith walk together.


~The circle of faith continues and I look forward to the blessings the future holds~

Yes...it's the same dress...almost 60 years old =) I had the bustle in the back removed and Meg had it modified to off the shoulder style...we'll see if it is still in good condition when and if her daughter wears it =)

That is so awesome! My MIL had my wedding dress preserved in a box, it cost like $500... SO if I do have a girl, (I want one so bad) She has got to be ready to get married before I open that box up, lol!

Believe it or not...this dress continues to be stored in my daddy's navy duffle bag...apparently when the navy makes something air tight and water proof...they mean it =)
