Living in Europe for ten years has made me realize things
I took for granted. Perhaps most importantly the idea we have
in America of self-determination. Kids here aren't raised
being told ‘You can be Presdient one day or anything else
you want to be.’ Indpendence? Perhaps it was best said here:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal,
that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,
that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
