Today I am looking at life with new eyes! Appreciating each moment with family and friends and thanking God for his mercy and grace! Two weeks ago I rushed my husband to the hospital with chest pains and that began a 10 day adventure we never imagined. After being admitted to hospital the doctors discovered an artery close to the heart with a 90% blockage. We know how blessed we are that they discovered this in time as we are told he could have had a heart attack at any time and it would likely have been fatal. After complications during surgery they placed 2 stents and Garry is now home and recovering. Food was brought to the house for the girls while I was in the hospital with Garry. Friends have offered to seed his crops, babysat, helped with the farm chores and drove me to the city and gave me a place to stay. We feel so thankful for this "second chance" and are humbled by the prayer support, encouragement and help we received from family and friends! God is so very good!
