The first time I heard Meg play my grandfather's mandolin, it brought me to tears. That sweet sound instantly transported me back to my childhood. My grandfather would always play for us. He was supposed to be singing us to sleep but we would always get up and dance around the house. What a treat to be able to recapture a part of my childhood. And how so very proud and touched he would be to know that she is playing this family heirloom and keeping it's tradition alive for future generations.
