I was not brought up in church, but a kind older lady invited me and my siblings to her church through her church's bus ministry. The rest is history ;-# I joined a Bible study group that met after school that was given by my accounting teacher Mrs. Ransom. It was then that I began to grow deeper along with still attending Burt Ave. But unfortunately peer pressure got the best of me and I became more interested in being liked by my peers than following God. After a long 13 years I came to a point in my adult life that I knew there was something missing and that I needed to get back to God. I began going to church again and rededicated my life to the Lord. It's been 11 years now and I am so thankful that God is so forgiving and makes us go down some hard roads in order to bring us back to Him!
