It never rains in Southern California, right? Wrong! Recently we have been going round and round with bouts of sunshine followed by bouts of rain. I had been trying to get to the flower fields to see the beautiful ranunculus in bloom but Mother Nature was not cooperating. I finally got to visit after one rain storm and seeing the roses still damp with the moisture of the rain was just breathtaking. It was worth the wait but I do wish Mother Nature would make up her mind one way or the other! 04/2010
