This layout journals and shows my great Grandfather, George A Hopkins, 1882-1949. He was a man of the outdoors and took his children on many adventures. He was widowed fairly young and shared the outdoors with all his children. Hunting was vital to the family’s food supply and I had heard all the stories of hunting deer, elk and moose, but never saw any photos of him. This negative was developed 60+ years after it was taken. It shows him wearing one of his home made pack frames that my Grandma had described to me and he is carrying parts of a deer. It was fun to see a glimpse into the past and have photographic evidence of the stories! I used my Outdoor Adventures kit. Thank you for looking.
