2 bedroom trailer on 20 Acres--Security and Solitude
"I had a love hate relationship with this house. I hated how small it was. I hated how old it was. I hated how far away from civilization it was. And yet, this place was SAFE. Mom made it beautiful and full of love. I could go "explore" the 20 acres and dream that I was some place else. Some place like Terabithia. I loved the blackberry briers and the vines on the fence. I had my own world with only my sister and brother to explore with. It was my safe haven and I love it, NOW. "
Yokata Air Force Base, 2 story quadplex--Freedom and Fear
I loved this house. It was two stories with a balcony that connect to my best friend Stacia's window. I had an ID card which meant freedom to roam the base. We rode the bus everywhere for free with the ID. We went to the pool, the bowling alley, the library, the pizza parlor and the Y. And yet there was fear. I was afraid of Jn and what he would do. I spent a lot of time grounded . But when he left for TDY there was freedom. Freedom to explore the base and freedom to explore my imagination. We sailed a pirate ship to Treasure Island. And went "dumpster" diving for a super cool scooter.
