My journaling:
"My parents....they were the best anyone could ask for.
They met in high school. My father made a bet with someone that
he could/or couldn't get a date with my mother. He won !!!
After graduating from high school my father went into the Army
and served for 4 yrs. While he was in the Army my mother became
a telephone operator.
They was married on Easter Sunday, April 21, 1946.
They started out in St. Clairsville, Ohio and several yrs. later ended
up in Malta, Ohio. There they raised 4 children. My father worked for
Central Ohio Coal Com. and my mother was a stay at home mom. We
had a life growing up. Took vacations, camping trips, birthday
celebrations and we won't forget the Sat. nite music parties.
My father passed away on April 3, 1992 and my mother will turn
84 on April 1, 2010. "
