When Jim was born we received a present from Michael’s Aunt Frances. There was a note on top the package that said she was sending us The Williams’ Tuxedo. I was rather touched, thinking that she was sending us a precious family heirloom. Imagine my surprise when I opened the package and inside was a pair of baby overalls. Michael started cracking up and explained to me that ALL he ever saw his grandfather Williams wear were a pair of overalls…morning…noon and night…going to church or working in the yard…overalls…ALL the time…hence the term The Williams’ Tuxedo. So to keep the tradition going, over the years Meg & Jim wore their versions of THE Williams’ Tuxedo.
