This challenge was truly a challenge for myself as well. I grew up not having a lot, so I have a tendency to hold onto things because we didn't have a lot of things. I'm coming to find that the more I give the more God gives to me, though those old habits creep up from time to time, it's my prayer that not only I learn that God WILL take care of me and I pray that I can be example of that for my children.
