On August 27th 2009 Mom fell down the stairs and broke 3 bones in her left ankle. After surgery and rehab she is home now and getting around with a walker and wheelchair. She really is an amazing woman with a great attitude and hasn't let this get her down. In fact she starts dance classes tonight. She teaches, and a couple will be doing the demo's for her. Our daughter Heather lives nearby and will be stopping in to get groceries, do laundry and errands for her. I cooked up a lot of casseroles and such before I came back to the farm (4 hours away) and Dad has been doing a great job warming them up for meals. After harvest I will go back and spend a few more weeks helping out.
