I’m not sure just where the bridal shower superstition began where each ribbon the future bride breaks symbolizes each child they will have. But Cassie was VERY careful about untying all the ribbons on her packages til the last few. Then she just ripped into them with abandon. We all lost count of just HOW many ribbons she broke, so time will tell whether this superstition is true!
