When Meg and Jim were little, we used to spend every 4th of July at the beach house in San Clemente. We would hit the beach early in the morning to claim our spot. Swim all day long and have a BBQ for dinner. Then we would wait for the fireworks show off the pier. Remember the year the people next to us ran into the waves carrying sparklers? Good Times!
