In Texas while no longer students, as they had been for the previous 11 years (PhD and post-doc), the budget was still tight. Mom stapled fabric to the walls in lieu of wallpaper. I could be wrong, but I'm just about positive this is the pattern of that 'paper' (from Raspberry Road's 'Seventies Styling' collection).
Credits roughed out for now -- polished when I return later this month.
