I know as a toddler teacher I am not supposed to have a favorite in my classroom, but I do. She is ornery, the most stubborn child I have ever met, has a couple learning disabilities, has a cleft pallet (no one understands her, but I do), she has a slight walking problem with her legs. No one else really wants to teach her in daycare, but she is my favorite. We laugh and play together. She says words and I know exactly what she is saying--she gets the biggest grin on her face. I know when she is about to do something wrong by the look in her eyes and the stride in her step, and I know when she comes running to me, she loves me too. She is my favorite toddler.
