Our church participated in 2007's Mission to Hanover (which is now Mission to Virginia) where teams of volunteers go out to help with winterization and other projects in our neighborhood. We went to the church that planted our church over 100 years ago and pulled weeds, planted flowers, and created some other landscaping beds. Josh was only 3 but he was a big helper and had a great time! It's a blessing to be able to serve others.
I used Eyelet's Scrap's great kit, Country Boy. It's filled with fun elements and great colors both for boy layouts and outdoor scrapping.
