I like to think of this photo as God’s perspective looking over my shoulder at my knees after my first series of injections

JOURNALING:
I’d just like to say that getting old sucks. All the years of running have finally caught up with my knees and osteoarthritis has set in. Eight years ago my orthopedist told me my only options were to have knee replacement surgery, cortisone shots or live with the pain. I chose pain. Recently, however, I had to reevaluate my options because of a new injury to my knees. Thanks to the marvel of modern medicine there are now other options than surgery. So I recently began a series of shots that injects synthetic fluid into my knees. It’s not the most painless procedure and it decreases my mobility for a few days afterward, but I am hopeful in the long run that this procedure will be a success. Because I know God is listening and He knows that I “knee”d to feel like myself again.
BIble Verse:
I can't impress this on you too strongly. God is looking over your shoulder.
2 Timothy 4:1
