JOURNALING:
Praying for my children is a daily occurrence. When they were little, I knew exactly what was going on in their lives so I would pray for their safety and their health, their choices and their decisions, their guidance and strength. Nothing was too big or too small to pray for. But when they grew up and moved away I panicked. How would I know what was happening in their lives? How would I know what to pray for? And then a calm reassurance came over me. I realized that God knew what going on in their lives and His hands would lead my heart to the specific prayers that were needed. And I knew; even tho I could not see, that they were in good hands.
“Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift your hands toward Him for the life of your young children.” ~Lamentations 2:19
