I made these ornaments with the new kit "Sweet Surrender" by Meredith Cardall here at FS [ link ]
I put pics of my kids inside the frame and printed on photo paper. Then cut out and adhered to brown cardstock. I added a gun metal eyelet and put black twine to hang them.
This would be a quick and easy present for anyone.
