My Poem - Lord:
In all I do,
I surrender to you.
In the cold darkness of the night, I surrender to you.
In the bright morning light, I surrender to you.
When my world crumbles to the ground, I surrender to you.
When each new day brings joys abound, I surrender to you.
Finding my pockets are bare, I surrender to you.
When my purse overflows and begins to tear, I surrender to you.
When I am lost and can not find my way, I surrender to you.
Following your lead every day, I surrender to you.
Each time my flesh is frail, I surrender to you.
Even when I am not pale, I surrender to you.
Finding my burdens too heavy to bare, I surrender to you.
At the times when I don’t have a care, I surrender to you.
Learning that knowledge is not enough, I surrender to you.
Knowing I have the right stuff, I surrender to you.
At the height of despair, I surrender to you.
When my trials are rare, I will still surrender to you.
