Journaling reads "Great Aunt Noreen loved to sew and made beautiful clothes for my brother and I when we were children and then for our children years later. As I spread her beautiful quilts upon my bed so many sweet memories return of visits to her home. She always kept a box of scrap fabric for the children to play with and taught them to sew doll clothes, rag rugs and do spool knitting. Even in her 80’s she would get down on the floor and play with the kids. When we were expecting our first baby she took us into her home while we renovated our first little house. She loved to cook and made the best cinnimon buns and roast beef with yorkshire pudding. The smell of cinnamon still makes me think of her to this day."
