Today I made the tag to go with the serving tray - I paraphrased the scripture verses from the "service" challenge to come up with a teacher quote for the tag.
The Fiskars Threading Water border punch was used along the bottom of the office supply tag, and I zig zag stitched for added texture. Cardstock is Bazzill, font Jayne Print.
To colorize the tag I wet it, crumpled and let it dry. I then used water color pencils in forest, blending with water, Brilliance ink in coffee brown, VersaMagic ink in Spanish olive, and Colorbox gold and once all that was dry I spritzed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Old Lace, which is a brown, and ironed dry to flatten. I used inks on the chipboard tree by Magistical Memories, and used Making Memories red snaps to make apples.
