Poem: Autumn
Autumn sings to me as I walk
Of golden fringes on my life--
Of scarlet memories that I keep
Tucked inside my heart with love.
My soul soars with the hawk above,
Against a blue sky clear and bright!
Burnished orange surrounds my feet
And tall grass brown with desert hues.
This glorious season feeds my soul,
As God doth decorate our earth
And all things painted by His hand
Sing praise and homage to His name.
