Dearest Aleck & Aiane,

I love this picture of the two of you that Papa took while you were playing. To me it captured both your innocence, purity & joy. This verse from the song “If I could” reminds me, that much as I would like the two of you to be like this forever, sheltered from the painful realities of life, I cannot do that. There are lessons in life that you have to learn on your own and will only learn, through painful experiences. Most of the times,these are situations that are tough, but when overcomed, will make both of you a better person. I may not be able to stop that from happening, all I can do is to teach you spiritual and moral truths, to prepare you for what’s ahead.To help you grow strong and faithful to the Lord, despite difficult circumstances. And if any one of you are in that situation, I will be there, to listen, to lend a shoulder to cry on, to pray with you and offer comforting words of love.
