I honestly never thought he'd leave this job.
I thought this was the job he'd retire from. But when God says to move, we face two choices - to obey or disobey. How can we teach our children to obey God, or even to obey us as parents, if we don't model that obedience to them. Here we stand, obeying without understanding the reasons for the change.
Thankful that God is merciful and kind. Sad that we leave these people we’ve grown to love. Believing that the seed we’ve planted in their lives will continue to grow and one day God will send someone to harvest that seed.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and he shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
