Here is the ultra-long journaling attached to the back of my layout:
This is just a simple photo of the dance studio. However, it speaks volumes to me. For the past two years, God has been doing miraculous works of restoration within my soul, within my heart, within my life. He has done such great things that I am so undeserving of. He’s been pouring out His awesome love and healing my shattered heart. And I’ve been feeling like I’m still doing something wrong because I look around and think to myself , “He has freed me of so much but I don’t live like He has made me free.” And I’m asking myself, “Can people see the joy of Christ that is within me by looking at my life?”
And then my great Savior who loves me like no other speaks to my heart and asks gently, “What do you love to do?” To my great surprise, one of my first answers to that question was to dance. It was my childhood dream to be a ballerina. I’ve never taken a dance class and God placed within me an incredible desire to do so.
Just this fall, at the ripe old age of 36, I’m taking hip-hop and jazz classes. And I’m starting to understand why God would ask me what I love to do. He has given me desires like this so that in fulfilling them, my life is filled with joy. That is how my great God works. Not only does He love me more than I deserve but He desires for me to dance. And through this dance, He is teaching me what it means to LIVE in His freedom, to dream, to shine for Him.
When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like
those who dream.
Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with
singing.
Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great
things for them.”
The Lord has done great things for us and we are glad.
Help us remember our captivity, Lord, as the streams in the
South.
Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.
He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing,
shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves
with him.
Psalm 126

Thanks for sharing this layout. Really like how you used the ticket stubs here in this layout. May have to scraplift this idea. The journaling was very nice. The reader can surely sense your freedom and Whom it comes from.
