Challenge Creative team assignment "Peace"
The two small flowers are attached to a tab that pulls a letter out. The letter says "You are such a blessing! Mommy is so thankful she had been able to stay at home with you. Mommy has always wanted to work at a big church and have her children there in private school. Before you were born Mommy was doing just that at Second Baptist Houston. Two weeks after you were born Mommy was offered a new position, one I had been waiting for. While this seemed like the perfect opportunity, the Lord gave Mommy a heavy heart. Daddy and Mommy prayed about it, knew the Lord wanted me at home with you, and Mommy turned it down. I've been at home with you since and have loved every minute of it!"
The journaling on the page says, "Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
I pray that one day soon you will know the Lord's voice, listen to it, and when you do, know His peace."
This decision was made just after my husband was given deployment orders, we had a baby, and had made the decision to sell our house. There was a lot going on and although we couldn't see it, the Lord knew what was ahead.
