These photos of my dad were taken almost exactly 6 months apart. The one on the right a month before he was diagnosed with cancer, and the one with my mom on the left 9 days before his death. When you look at the photos close up it is amazing to see how much weight he lost. The cancer took him so quickly, but I am comforted to know that he is with God, and he was spared much suffering. That said, I miss him, and I am still sad. But I also have God's strength to see me thru.
