JOURNALING:
When Michael was diagnosed with adult onstage diabetes it really should not have come as a surprise to us. Here was a man who used to add sugar to his Sugar Frosted Flakes! So this diagnosis involved a major diet and lifestyle change. I know how hard it has been for him and on the whole he has done quite well. Tho being a rebel, he still tries to hike when he knows he shouldn’t and sneaks ice cream every now and then. So I try not to nag and keep reminding him to take care of himself and hopefully his life will be filled with many high points…instead of his sugar.
Bible Verse:
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Love how you used those bold colors from the photo in the page. Love the light shining down on him in the photo as well! Good luck keeping him on the straight & narrow in the kitchen!
