This was an easy layout to create but a hard one to share. I have been struggling in my walk with the Lord for some time now. This week I feel like I sort of hit bottom. So, doing this challenge helped me to remind myself I don't have to stay down, I can get back up with Jesus' help.

What is it about a winding path that beckons us to follow it? Is it the thrill of the unknown? Or is it, just maybe, the hope of what we may find at the end? I have found since becoming a christian 12 years ago, the paths I walk now are not much different then the ones I once did. Both paths wind me through dark areas and light. Both paths have rocks that try to cause me to stumble. Both have their ups and their downs. So, what is it about the path of Jesus that beckoned me to follow? The answer is in the question...JESUS. I still greatly struggle with darkness, but Jesus is always there with His light when I ask. I often stumble and fall down, but Jesus is always there holding out His hand to help me back up again. God knows I get tired of what seems like endless up hill climbing, but Jesus is always there when I stop to rest and seek a fresh breath. You see, this path I walk has two sets of footprints; mine and those of Jesus. When I feel lost and all alone, it is not because Jesus has left me. No, it is because I refused to turn to Him. Once again, I turn to the One who loves me unconditionally. I reach out my hand and He is there. Always.
